Description
DC Comics Detective Comics number 437, published in November 1973. This issue features the first appearance of the modern Manhunter, Paul Kirk, in a backup story by Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson. The lead feature is a Batman story titled Deathmask. The front cover displays a 20 cent original cover price and the Comics Code Authority seal. The cover illustration depicts Batman and a masked figure set against a large skull motif. The back cover contains a full page color advertisement for Raleigh bicycles, specifically the Record 24 and Sprite models.
