Description
From estate. Large jacket-back, hand-painted insignia. Appears to have been cut from a deck jacket. According to the hand written notes on the back, this was worn by a USAAF Pilot who was recovered by a sub crew. He served with the crew to assist other aviators who were also downed. Interesting item deserving further research.
