Description
This US WWII Army Air Forces Aviation Cadet service cap is constructed with a tan fabric crown and a dark blue textured mohair-style band. The cap features a crusher style softened frame. It is equipped with a brown leather visor and an adjustable brown leather chin strap secured by two gold-toned metal buttons embossed with a raised eagle design. The front of the crown displays a metal Aviation Cadet insignia featuring wings and a vertical propeller. The interior is lined with tan fabric and includes a clear plastic moisture shield over the crown. The brown leather sweatband is stamped with the black alphanumeric mark C-9724.
