Description
This collection features a large grouping of non-sport trading cards from the 1994 All Chromium Conan II series, manufactured by Comic Images. The lot consists of several stacks of base cards and several promotional/insert cards. The cards feature a high-gloss chromium finish with artwork sourced from the Savage Sword of Conan comic book series. Visible base card artwork includes pieces by Boris Vallejo, such as the cover of Savage Sword of Conan issue No.1, and Joe Jusko, featuring the cover of issue No.81. The promotional cards include two copies of card P1, which reproduces Frank Frazetta’s Ghoul Queen artwork from the cover of Savage Sword of Conan issue No.38, and one copy of card P2, which reproduces the cover artwork from issue No.69. The promotional cards are distinguished by a circular refractor holographic pattern. The reverse of the cards contains descriptive text about the comic series and the following manufacturer markings: ALL CHROMIUM CONAN II, COLLECTOR CARDS BY COMIC IMAGES, ? 1994 Conan Properties, Inc., and Produced by Comic Images, Saddle Brook, NJ 07662.
