Description
A spherical studio art glass paperweight created by artist Michael Brian for Saturn Art Glass. The piece features a dense, multidimensional internal decorative core designed to resemble a celestial nebula. This internal scene is composed of swirling glass frit in shades of deep purple, cobalt blue, and emerald green, heavily interspersed with crinkled metallic gold foil inclusions that create a shimmering cosmic effect. The decorated interior is encased within a thick layer of clear, hand-blown glass. The paperweight is finished with a flat, polished circular base. The base features an incised signature that reads M Brian on the top line and 83 on the second line. A small white rectangular manufacturer’s label remains affixed to the side of the glass, with printed text reading SATURN ART GLASS.
