Description
Unbelievably RARE US Technical Consulting uniform grouping. Includes 4 pocket Officers tunic with green shoulder straps with theater made "USA Tech Consultant" DUIs. The pocket has the tab "U.S.A. Technical Consultant" and a pair of rare, "T.C.", Technical Consultant collar badges. This person was a New York Art Director who was brought into the "OWI, Office of War Information", specifically the PWB, the Pyschological Warfare Bureau to design propaganda to be dropped on enemy soldiers. Includes his wrist ID bracelet with his personnel numbers for both the OWI and the PMB. Super exotic and rare. He was at some point detailed to the Middle East and picked up some beautiful bullion insignia. Includes Tech Rep, sew on shoulder strap tabs and bullion slip on shoulder strap tabs. In addition are 2 snap on patches. One a Tech Rep cap badge for Wright Aviation and the other a "US Technical Representative shoulder patch. An AMAZING GROUP!! He was a New York Art Director and worked for Aviation Magazines among others, hence the Aviation connection to OWI and PMB. This unit existed between 1942-1945 and was then absorbed intot he OSS.
