Description
A vintage American superhero comic book, X-MEN -54, published by the MARVEL COMICS GROUP in March 1969. Originally priced at 12 cents, the comic bears the APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY seal. The front cover features classic comic book artwork depicting Cyclops in a blue and yellow costume being targeted by a character in green and gold, presumably Havok, with Angel flying above and the text -CYCLOPS MUST DIE!- The back cover is a full-page advertisement for the -Famous Artists School, – featuring an illustration of people drawing and the headline -We-re looking for people who like to draw- attributed to Norman Rockwell. This issue marks the first appearance and origin of Alex Summers -Havok- and the first appearance of the Living Pharaoh. Constructed from newsprint paper with a color cover.
