Description
A 1988 Marvel Comics -Wolverine -1- comic book, published in November, professionally encapsulated in a rigid plastic Certified Guaranty Company -CGC- slab. The comic holds a graded condition of 9.0 with -WHITE Pages, – indicating excellent preservation. This issue is notable as the first appearance of Wolverine as Patch and the launch of his own monthly series. The front cover, attributed to John Buscema, features Wolverine in a torn blue costume with extended claws, standing atop a pile of fallen figures against a full moon, accompanied by the prominent text -MARVEL AT LAST ? IN HIS OWN MONTHLY SERIES!-. The back cover, a pin-up by John Byrne, depicts Wolverine in his classic yellow and black costume smoking a cigar, set against a split black and white background.
