The comic features -The Hands of Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu.- The cover, by Jim Starlin & Al Milgrom, depicts Shang-Chi engaged in martial arts with other figures, overseen by a green-skinned villain. The cover prominently announces -IRON FIST-S FIRST ISSUE!- and -MARTIAL ARTS ACTION THE LIKES YOU-VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!-. The CGC label notes the key first appearances of Shang-Chi, Fu Manchu, and Sir Denis Nayland Smith. The reverse features a mail-in advertisement for LaSalle Extension University home study courses. A retail price sticker of $199.99 is affixed to the slab.
