Letters from a young lady who interviews him for a high school project are also included. The Highlight of this group is his wartime scrapbook which contains photos of the Iwo Jima and Saipan assault landings he participated in. The Scrapbook also include never before seen Personal Photos from inside the USMC Field Hospital Operating Rooms. You can see the detailed and gruesome things these marines had to face and the conditions the surgeons had to work under!
