Rare 1830s-40s Officers gorget for a member of the 3RD New Hampshire infantry. Appears to be a recycled captured British 1812 gorget. Scratched into the back. "3RD Regt" N.H." "Co. A". Next line is a name "Jacob Masson"? and below that "Fitzwilliam, NH". Surfaced in New Hampshire last year.
