Description
Very interesting section of fuselage from an WW2 SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber recovered from Lake Michigan. Quite a few of these have been pulled from the lake. I believe over 100 war birds have been located since 1990. This one will need some research to determine which one it is. I know it was one of the ones that has been restored. This number would have been removed from the leading edge of the wing, or the engine nacelle, (the ring around the engine opening). Approx 8 x 8 inches.
