Description
WW2 Period Japanese army NCO Gunto Sword. The aluminum handle shows service wear with some of the brown paint missing. The fuchi hilt collar bears the mark of the kokura arsenal as well as nagoya inspection stamp and the Gifu Sword Company Makers mark.The positioning of the serial number on the sword blad indicaties this blad was manufactured at the nagoya arsenal but produced under the kokura arsenal administration.The blade and Scabbard have Matching Serial numbers. Blade has spots of grey but no chips or active rust.
