Named to top turret gunner and engineer tech sgt. Claiborne Maynard. Ford’s Folly was shot down over Hanover Germany on Sept 11th 1944. 8 of the crew including Maynard were KIA and 2 became POW’s. Included in this group is pieces of Maynards original uniform including his British made stubby wing 8th AF Patch, British made overseas bars, tech Sgt. rank and Ribbon bars. Also included is original photos of the Ford’s Folly crew with 2 pictures depicting a beautiful painted A2 Jacket
