Description
Name is stencilled in the liner and on leather name strip. All original, with painted P-47 on the reverse. Silver painted LT. bars. Service number also stenciled on the lining. Label removed. Appears to be a size 38. Research indicates that Lt. Howard W.Danks flew with the 66th Fighter Squadron, 57th Fighter Group. Lt. Danks was noted as having a probably kill on September 4, 1944.
