Description
Extensive collection to Chief Warrant Officer Robert L. Cloud. WO Cloud served during WWII with the ATC in the CBI theater, and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal for extensive long-term flights in a combat zone. His primary role was Radio Operator. The collection includes all of his service medals along with original documentation for his Air Force Commendation Medal. Original service records, photographs and misc. insignia as shown are also included. Avery interesting and comprehensive collection deserving further research. Cloud also served as a Liaison Officer to the Turkish Air Force during the Viet-Nam War.
