Description
Well-marked 22c/225-233 1939 Pattern flying boots. Unusual with russet brown leatherbottoms. Confirmed that the first order from the RAF allowed for either brown or black leather. These were worn extensively throughout the Battle of Britain. A service number is also found on one of the inner pull-tabs. Air Ministry marked.
