Description
This offering features Giant-Size Conan the Barbarian issue number 2, published by Marvel Comics Group in December 1974. A quintessential piece of Bronze Age fantasy, the issue contains the story The Haunter of the Pit! written by Roy Thomas. The striking cover art is a collaboration between legendary artists Gil Kane and Tom Palmer, depicting the Cimmerian in a visceral battle against a giant ape-like creature. As a 50-cent giant-size issue, it represents Marvels successful expansion of Robert E. Howards character during the 1970s. This is an uncertified, raw specimen.
