This is an original Bronze Age copy of The Defenders 3, published by Marvel Comics Group with a cover date of December 1972. This issue is a significant early entry in the series, featuring the Silver Surfer joining the core lineup of the Hulk, Doctor Strange, and Namor the Sub-Mariner to battle the Undying One. Written by Steve Englehart with interior art by Sal Buscema and Jim Mooney, the book is a classic example of 1970s cosmic Marvel storytelling.
