Description
This original Silver Age comic book, The Avengers issue no. 71, was published by the Marvel Comics Group in December 1969. Written by Roy Thomas with cover art by Sal Buscema and Sam Grainger, the issue is titled The Final Battle! and features the first appearance of the Invaders. The cover illustration depicts Captain America, Black Panther, Vision, and Namor the Sub-Mariner against a backdrop featuring the Eiffel Tower. The publication carries a 15-cent cover price and the Comics Code Authority seal. The reverse side features a full-page advertisement for the Famous Artists School of Westport, Connecticut.
