This lot features a raw copy of Superman 187, published by DC Comics in June 1966 as part of the 80-Page Giant series G-23. Titled Supermans Inner Sanctum, the issue is a curated collection of stories focusing on the Man of Steels private retreats and trophies. The cover art prominently displays Superman lifting the iconic giant gold key to the Fortress of Solitude. Interior stories include A Visit to the Bottle-City of Kandor, Supermans Undersea Fortress, and Strange Animals of the Interplanetary Zoo, along with a retrospective on the 1942 debut of the Fortress.
