Description
Action Comics No. 357. Published by National Periodical Publications DC Comics, December 1967. This staple-bound comic book features the Superman story "The Kryptonite Rumble!" written by Cary Bates with pencils by Curt Swan and inks by George Klein. The cover art, also by Swan and Klein, depicts Superman confronted by a youth gang known as the Skulls, who are armed with fragments of glowing kryptonite. This issue includes a secondary feature, "The Kid Who Caged Superman!" The back cover contains a full-page color advertisement for the Aurora Skittle-Bowl game, dated 1967.
