Description
A pair of Silver Age DC comic books, Supermans Girl Friend Lois Lane No. 23, published in February 1961. These issues are identified by the market as the first comic appearance of Lena Thorul, the sister of Lex Luthor. The front covers feature an imaginary story titled The Wife of Superman! with art depicting a picnic scene with Superman, Lois Lane, and two super-powered children. These are ten-cent staple-bound newsprint publications. The back covers contain a full-page color advertisement for photo rings by the Wilson Chemical Company of Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
