Description
This vintage Silver Age comic book, Detective Comics issue number 349, was published by DC Comics in March 1966. The issue features a classic cover by Joe Kubert depicting Batman and Robin in a confrontation with the powerful villain Blockbuster. This story, titled The Blockbuster Breaks Loose!, marks the second appearance of Blockbuster Mark Desmond in DC continuity. The interior features the creative talents of writer Gardner Fox and artists Carmine Infantino and Joe Giella. This copy retains its original 12-cent cover price and includes the iconic full-page color advertisement for the American Seed Co. on the back cover. As a raw, uncertified specimen, it represents a well-preserved example of mid-1960s Batman memorabilia.
