Description
This vintage Silver Age comic book, Tales of Suspense 93, was published by Marvel Comics Group in September 1967. The issue features the iconic duo of Iron Man and Captain America in separate adventures. The dynamic cover art is a collaborative effort by legendary artists Gene Colan and Jack Kirby, depicting a fierce battle between Iron Man and the Titanium Man, with an inset featuring the villain Half-Face. This specimen is a raw, un-slabbed copy with the original 12-cent cover price. The issue is historically significant for its portrayal of Cold War-era antagonists and represents a classic example of the late 1960s Marvel aesthetic. The interior stories were authored by Stan Lee with illustrations by Colan and Kirby.
