Description
This lot features Amazing Adventures issue number 3, published by Marvel Comics Group in November 1970. This Bronze Age title features a split-book format with dual stories starring the Inhumans and the Black Widow. The Inhumans story, titled The Battle of Doom!, features an appearance by the Mandarin with interior art by Jack Kirby and Chic Stone. The Black Widow story, titled Death to the Black Widow!, features art by John Buscema and John Verpoorten. The comic is highly regarded for its iconic split-cover artwork by Neal Adams and John Romita Sr. The back cover features a classic Famous Artists School advertisement featuring Norman Rockwell.
