Description
This Silver Age comic book, Green Lantern No. 70, was published by DC Comics in July 1969 and features the first 15-cent cover price for the title. The front cover features illustration by artist Gil Kane with his signature appearing within the artwork. The cover depicts a lanky character in a red suit standing over a fallen Green Lantern, surrounded by a group of onlookers. The front includes the DC National Comics logo and the Approved by the Comics Code Authority seal. The back cover contains a full-page color advertisement for Ideal Boaterific Outboards toy boats. The issue features work by writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane.
