Description
This is the first issue of the DC Comics series Weird War Tales, dated October 1971. The front cover features illustrations by artist Joe Kubert depicting a skeletal German soldier with a swastika armband, identified in a text box as Gefreiter Hans M?ller. The cover includes titles for the featured stories Fort Which Did Not Return!, Bakers Dozen!, and End of the Sea Wolf!. It displays the original 25 cent price point and the Comics Code Authority seal. The back cover features a full-page color advertisement for Mattel Sizzlers Fat Track toys with a 1971 copyright notice.
