Description
This is the first issue of the Hawkman solo title, published by DC National Comics in May 1964. The cover features artwork by Murphy Anderson depicting the title character in combat with a Mayan-inspired figure, illustrating the featured story Master of the Sky-Weapons. This 12-cent Silver Age comic book includes the Superman DC National Comics logo and the Comics Code Authority seal. The back cover features a full-page color advertisement for the American Seed Co. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
