A vintage copy of The Mighty Thor issue number 229 published by Marvel Comics Group in November 1974. The front cover depicts Thor with Mjolnir against an urban backdrop under the title God of Thunder, Night of Doom! and includes the 25-cent price and Comics Code Authority seal. This issue is recognized for containing the first house advertisement for The Incredible Hulk number 181 and the first appearance of the character Dweller-in-Darkness. The reverse features a full-page color advertisement for LaSalle Extension University. The comic is a staple-bound newsprint publication.
