Description
A copy of DC Comics Superman 81, published in September 1993, which forms part of the Reign of the Supermen! story arc. This issue is identified as the first cover appearance of Superman in the black suit. The front cover features the hand-signatures of writer and artist Dan Jurgens and inker Brett Breeding in silver-tone ink. The issue is hand-numbered 1684 out of a limited edition of 10,000. Included is a corresponding Certificate of Authenticity from Dynamic Forces Inc., bearing the matching number 1684 and an authorized signature. The comic is housed in a clear protective sleeve.
