Description
A collection of collegiate sports trading card boxes manufactured by Collegiate Collection, dating to the 1989-1990 period. The group includes two Second Edition North Carolina Tar Heels boxes featuring Michael Jordan on the cover, one First Edition Arizona State Sun Devils box featuring Reggie Jackson, and one Special Edition North Carolina display box featuring James Worthy and Coca-Cola Classic branding. The Second Edition boxes are marked as A Millennium 2000 Collectable and indicate a contents of 288 trading cards per box. The Special Edition display box is printed with a .99 cents per pack price point and was originally intended to hold 18 card packs. All boxes feature officially licensed collegiate product seals and descriptive text regarding the athletes and the Nostalgic Collector Trading Cards series.
Condition: The three smaller boxes (two North Carolina Second Edition and one Arizona State First Edition) remain in their original factory-sealed cellophane. The larger yellow Special Edition display box is unsealed and exhibits moderate wear, including edge softening, surface scuffing, and structural creasing consistent with age and handling.
