Description
A collection of vintage Japanese baseball menko cards dating to the early 1950s. These printed cardstock items are designed as a functional playing card deck, featuring traditional suits and values alongside color illustrations of professional players. The collection includes representatives from teams such as the Shochiku Robins, Yomiuri Giants, Chunichi Dragons, and Hanshin Tigers. One card is labeled Joker and features a portrait of Babe Ruth within a laurel wreath. The cards are printed on heavy cardstock and many are individually housed in clear plastic protective sleeves.
