Description
This collection of baseball memorabilia commemorates Cal Ripken Jr. and his record-breaking consecutive games streak. The group includes several Upper Deck trading cards titled 2,131 Consecutive Games Played featuring various metallic-toned finishes including gold-tone and silver-tone. Also included is a 1994 Score trading card featuring a facsimile autograph and an image of Ripken at Camden Yards. The lot further contains several oversized commemorative tickets for the game held on September 6, 1995, between the Baltimore Orioles and California Angels at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The items are housed in various protective containers including screw-down and snap-down acrylic cases and plastic sleeves. One plastic sleeve features an Upper Deck Authenticated hologram seal.
Condition: The collection is in well-maintained condition. Minor surface wear and light scratching are visible on the exterior of the protective acrylic cases. The cards and tickets appear to be well-preserved within their housings.
