Description
A pair of 1996 Bleachers Card Corp 23KT gold foil baseball cards featuring New York Yankees outfielder Mickey Mantle. Each card is constructed with embossed relief portraits on the front, a blue facsimile signature, and a circular logo commemorating his American League MVP seasons in 1956, 1957, and 1962. The text The Commerce Comet is inscribed at the top. The reverse side contains detailed career statistics, biographical information, and individual serial numbers. Visible markings include 1996 BLEACHERS CARD CORP, OFFICIALLY LICENSED PRODUCT, and 23 KT GOLD. Both items are housed in clear plastic protective holders. Serial numbers: 2310 and 2117.
