Description
A collection of vintage tobacco cards from the 1930s, including examples from the Ardath Tobacco Co. and John Player and Sons series. The group features portraits of prominent Hollywood actors such as Gary Cooper, Norma Shearer, Marion Davies, Maureen O?Sullivan, Myrna Loy, Douglas Fairbanks, Jnr., and Bette Davis. The cards are printed on cardstock and display both color and black-and-white imagery in rectangular and oval-vignette formats. Visible studio affiliations include Paramount and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (M-G-M). The items are presented in protective plastic sleeves.
Condition: The cards appear to be in good overall condition, exhibiting minor edge wear and light tonal variation consistent with age.
