Description
A collection of professionally graded 1987 rookie-era baseball trading cards featuring Hall of Fame pitcher Greg Maddux of the Chicago Cubs. The group includes multiple examples of the 1987 Donruss The Rookies issue, card number 52, and a 1987 Fleer Update Glossy rookie card, designated U-68. All cards are professionally authenticated and encapsulated by SGC (Sportscard Guaranty Corporation). The Donruss cards feature a portrait of Maddux in a Chicago Cubs uniform with a teal border and the The Rookies logo. The Fleer Update Glossy card depicts Maddux in a pitching motion with a light blue border and the Chicago Cubs logo in the lower right corner. Each card is housed in a standard hard plastic grading slab with a descriptive header label.
Condition: The 1987 Donruss The Rookies cards are each graded SGC 96 Mint. The 1987 Fleer Update Glossy card is graded SGC 92 NM/MT+. All cards are housed in standard hard plastic grading slabs, each further protected by an individual clear plastic sleeve. The slabs and cards appear to be in excellent, preserved condition.
