Description
A collection of 1965 Topps Embossed baseball cards featuring National League and American League All-Stars. Each card is constructed with a gold-toned embossed foil profile portrait of a player set against a solid color field. National League players are presented on red backgrounds, while American League players are presented on blue backgrounds. Notable players in this group include Hank Aaron, Don Drysdale, Mickey Lolich, Jim Bouton, Bill Freehan, and Pete Ward. The cards are individually housed in clear plastic protective sleeves.
Condition: The collection displays overall age-appropriate surface wear and softening to the corners. One card, depicting Ron Fairly, exhibits a horizontal yellow adhesive strip across the center of the embossed portrait.
