Description
A collection of New York Mets memorabilia centered on Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel. The assembly includes a large color photograph of Stengel in a pensive pose wearing a New York Mets uniform. Accompanying the photograph are two original vintage Topps baseball cards: a 1963 Casey Stengel Mets Manager card number 42 and a 1965 Casey Stengel Mets Manager card number 150. The items are secured with gold-toned photo corners to a cream-colored inner mat with clipped corners, layered beneath a light blue outer mat. The display is presented in a polished silver-toned metal frame.
Condition: The large central photograph shows visible surface creasing and edge wear. The two vintage trading cards exhibit softened corners and typical signs of handling consistent with age. The frame shows minor surface scuffing and wear.
