Description
A standard-issue German military three-pocket ammunition pouch for the Kar98k rifle. The pouch is constructed from black pebbled leather and features three individual compartments designed to hold two five-round stripper clips of 7.92x57mm Mauser ammunition per pocket. Each compartment is fitted with a lid secured by a leather strap that fastens to an aluminum stud at the base. The reverse side is equipped with two vertical leather belt loops and a central leather strap holding a silver-toned metal D-ring for attachment to load-bearing equipment. The construction utilizes heavy-duty stitching and metal rivets, with the rear rivets reinforced by circular metal washers. Internal dividers are present within the pockets. The rear center panel between the belt loops bears an embossed three-line manufacturer mark: E. LUNESCHLOSS / SOLINGEN / 1939.
