Description
Collection of military aviation and insignia reference materials includes two hardcover volumes by Russell J. Huff titled Winging It I and Winging It II. Both volumes feature cream-colored textured covers and are inscribed and signed by the author to Bill, dated March 24, 1993. The collection further includes softcover reference works: Air Force Collecting: Patches, Medals, Badges, Insignia by Cliff Cates and A Companion to Wings of World War II by Russell J. Huff, both featuring plastic comb bindings. Also present are two Insignia Catalog publications from Dover Army & Navy Store, Inc., dated 1989 and 1999, with plastic comb spines. The periodical section of the lot contains a group of Wings & Things of the World newsletters published by R.J. Huff & Assoc. Inc., including Volume 1, Number 1 (Fall 1987). Additionally, the lot includes several issues of the Aviation Treasures newsletter dating from 1997 to 1999 and a trade/sale list titled International Military Parachutist Elite Insignia.
