Description
Marvel Comics Strange Tales No.114, published in November 1963. This Silver Age comic book is professionally graded and encapsulated by CGC with a Universal Grade of 7.5 Very Fine- and cream to off-white pages. The issue features a story by Stan Lee with interior artwork by Steve Ditko and George Roussos, and cover art by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers. This is a significant key issue, featuring the first appearance of a Captain America character since 1954, though later revealed to be the villain Acrobat in disguise. This appearance served as a test for the character’s popularity prior to his official return in The Avengers No.4. The issue also contains the first appearance of Victoria Bentley. The front cover depicts the Human Torch in combat with Captain America. The CGC certification number is 1222978001. A small handwritten ink mark is present in the upper-left corner of the front cover near the Human Torch. The reverse features a full-page advertisement for the Famous Artists Schools.
