Description
This lot features two collectible non-sport trading cards from the 1995 Fleer Ultra X-Men series, produced by Fleer/Skybox International. These cards belong to the Limited Edition Holoflash insert subset and feature artwork by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt. The first card depicts the character Wolverine and is designated as number 4 of 9 in the subset. The reverse features a comic-style panel with a speech bubble reading, OKAY, THIS IS IT, BUB! I ONLY GOT ONE MORE SUIT, SO YA BETTER LIKE IT! The second card depicts the character Magneto and is designated as number 5 of 9. The reverse displays comic panels with text reading, HEL-LO! COLLECT CALL FROM THE FASHION POLICE! and DO YOU WISH TO ACCEPT? Both cards are finished with a refractive Holoflash foil and include the Fleer Ultra X-Men logo in gold foil on the front. The reverse of each card bears the printed artist attribution and a 1995 copyright for Marvel Characters, Inc.
