Description
This collection consists of ten non-sport trading cards from the 1995 Fleer Ultra X-Men series, manufactured by Fleer Corp. in partnership with Marvel Comics. The cards are part of the Hunters and Stalkers insert subset and feature a distinctive textured, metallic-etched gold foil finish on the obverse. The artwork throughout the subset is attributed to artist Dave DeVries, whose name appears on both the front and back of the cards. The assortment includes multiple characters from the nine-card subset: two copies of Apocalypse Card 1/9 , one copy of Cable Card 2/9 , one copy of Deadpool Card 3/9 , four copies of Random Card 4/9 , one copy of Sabretooth Card 6/9 , and one copy of Archangel Card 9/9 . The front of each card displays a character illustration against an etched gold background, with the 95 Fleer Ultra logo embossed in the lower right and a Hunters and Stalkers banner in the lower left. The reverse of each card features a red target motif, character-specific quotes, artist attribution, and copyright information dated 1994 Marvel, which is consistent with the set’s 1995 release.
