Description
This group of 10 non-sport trading cards is from the 1994 Marvel Masterpieces set published by Fleer. These items are part of the Power Blast chase insert series and feature distinctive textured gold foil backgrounds. The artwork for these cards was created by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt. The assortment includes two Apocalypse cards marked Power Blast 1 of 9 , two Cyclops cards marked Power Blast 2 of 9 , one Archangel card marked Power Blast 3 of 9 , four Gambit cards marked Power Blast 4 of 9 , and one Magneto card marked Power Blast 5 of 9 . Each card front displays the Marvel Masterpieces logo in the top left, the gold foil Power Blast logo with set sequence numbering in the top right, and the character name at the bottom center. A vertical artist attribution reading T + G Hildebrandt is located on the bottom left edge. The reverse side contains character biographies, the Marvel logo, and a Fleer 1994 mark. Each card is housed in a separate clear plastic top-loader sleeve.
