Description
A collection of vintage pocket match accessories comprising two matchbox sleeves and two vesta cases. The assortment features an Art Deco souvenir matchbox cover made of brass with a gold-tone finish, embossed with Rockefeller Center, New York City, and a stylized depiction of the 30 Rockefeller Plaza skyscraper. Another brass matchbox sleeve is decorated with a granular texture and an applied Comedy and Tragedy theater mask ornament accented with colorless paste stones. The collection includes a silver-toned metal vesta case or early pocket lighter with an engraved central oval cartouche and foliate scrollwork, featuring a knurled side striker and hinged lid. Also present is a capsule-shaped brass vesta case with three raised horizontal bands and a side-mounted release mechanism.
