Description
U.S. Department of the Air Force Chaplain Service Wall Plaque. Circular Department of the Air Force Chaplain Service wall plaque/emblem: tan/gold outer ring reading "DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE" above and "CHAPLAIN SERVICE" below, separated by side stars; blue central field with star, sculpted bald eagle on cloud, and shield pairing a Christian cross with Ten Commandments tablets topped by a Star of David; Roman numerals MCMXLIX (1949) below the shield. Painted three-dimensional relief (wood/resin/metal type not confirmed from photos). Appears complete with no significant damage visible. Condition Good as shown.
