Description
This collection of 20 pieces of ephemera features a primary focus on early 20th century aviation alongside nautical and scenic subjects. The aviation component includes five modern glossy color commemorative postcards depicting restored historical biplanes including a 1927 Waco 9 with registration N2574, two 1929 Argo Open Biplanes, a 1930 Pitcairn Mailwing, and a 1941 Fleet Open Biplane. The monochrome aviation items consist of various black and white photographs and postcards. Notable subjects include a biplane captioned the Bug, an aircraft with registration N5492, and a biplane featuring German Iron Cross military markings on the tail and fuselage.
