Description
This is a 1990 Marvel Universe Series 1 Cosmic Spider-Man hologram card, designated as MH1. Produced by Impel Marketing Inc., this card is the first entry in a five-card holographic insert subset from the inaugural Marvel Universe trading card set. The front of the card features a silver-tone holographic illustration of Spider-Man in his Captain Universe, or Cosmic, persona. Vertical text on the left margin of the holographic window reads MARVEL COMICS COSMIC SPIDER-MAN. The reverse side contains a speech bubble from Spider-Man addressed to collectors, a checklist for the hologram subset MH1 Cosmic Spider-Man, MH2 Magneto, MH3 Silver Surfer, MH4 Wolverine, and MH5 Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin , and a Did You Know trivia section. The bottom copyright text attributes the card to the 1990 Marvel Entertainment Group, Inc. and states it was exclusively distributed by Impel Marketing Inc.
