Description
A pair of non-sport trading cards from the 1994 Marvel Masterpieces set, produced by Fleer. The set features painted illustrations by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt, also known as the Hildebrandt Brothers. The first card depicts the character Xi’an from X-Men 2099, designated as card number 139 in the base set. It features a full-bleed illustration with gold foil stamping on the top left logo and the character nameplate at the bottom. Vertical artist credits are printed on the lower right edge reading T + G HILDEBRANDT. The second card is the 1994 Edition Header Card, featuring a four-panel illustration of Marvel characters Wolverine, Captain America, The Thing, and Bishop. This card includes a central gold foil-stamped circular logo with the text 1994 EDITION MARVEL Masterpieces HILDEBRANDT BROTHERS. Both items are standard size trading cards printed on high-gloss cardstock.
